Please be advised that I am requesting a loan modification due to circumstances beyond my control. I recently lost my job due to my company down-sizing and the company going out of business. In addition to that, I am now required to take care of my elderly mother as she is currently enduring major health issues. She requires all of my undivided attention, & constantly needs to be given medical care & specialized treatments, which are quite costly, around the clock. I cannot afford to hire an in-house nurse to provide ample care for my mother, so I need to provide the care myself. Following which, my car broke down & I needed to get that fixed so as a result, I have become behind on bills & am barely making ends meet just to stay afloat. I have had to apply for Medicaid & Food Stamps, as well as Unemployment Compensation, as I have lost my job & can no longer afford to put food on my table. Unfortunately, keeping a roof over my head & food on the table is my main concern. I am a single mother (father) of two children ages 4 & 6. I have also needed to request the assistance of a debt consolidation consolidation to assist me with paying off the bills that have now piled up & cannot be paid due to a loss of income, child care & elder care.
